Vision and Beliefs
Surge Kids Ministry is a place where young revivalists are created, by teaching them the word of God and to stand on his word even when it gets challenging in life. We want to ignite passion in the younger generation and prepare both current and upcoming generations to continue the legacy of spreading the word of God. The aim is to see them set free from spiritual limitations, accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior, receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit and walk in their authority over all darkness. We will develop their spiritual gifts and inspire them to embrace their true identity as God's children. We believe that the Holy Spirit can and will move in any age of a submitted vessel. We are committed to guiding the youth in their faith and leading a movement in their generation to bring a lasting revival fire that will impact future generations to come!
Kingdom Kids (3-6)
In Kingdom Kids we place a strong emphasis on character development, laying down the foundation which is the principles found in Gods word. We teach them how to grow and mature into young revivalists, walking in the fruits of the Spirit and how to become the fruit. Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness & self control, are all the biblical fruits, taught in a fun and age appropriate way. Here in Kingdom Kids we use lessons, fun activities, worship, games, and being the example as teachers and volunteers. These are all powerful tools in which we believe will grow them into Fire Bearers, overcoming all darkness and carrying that into the next generation!
Fire Bearers (Ages 7-11)
At Fire Bearers they will learn how to carry the fire of the Holy Spirit. We believe this is vital because we live in a world where they are told who they are and what they are, whether it be by other kids, adults or even the devil! So with obedience, boldness, desperation and a burden we are stepping in faith to see change, the youth rise above and be set free of any false identity! We do this by teaching and building in them the foundation of Godly character. We also teach them how to carry the fire of the Holy Spirit in their homes, schools and communities. We show them how to use the word of God to speak against false identity structures, teaching them how to pray fervently to break cycles in their generation. As they do this, we believe they will see true change in themselves and other kids their age! We use essential tools such as the Word of God, Lessons, worship and prayer. We teach them how to prophetically activate their voices to speak the word of the Lord over them and their generation.
